Introduction

A consistent and disciplined Baccarat strategy is built upon four foundational elements:

1. Trigger

2. Money Management (MM)

3. Grinding

4. Waiting Period

This system aims to provide a structured approach to Baccarat betting strategy, focusing on minimizing emotional decisions, controlling risk, and sustaining long-term profitability.

1. Trigger

A Trigger is a predefined, objective condition in the game that signals when to place a bet. It is not the strategy itself, but a component within the strategy.

Waiting is a mental discipline. You must train yourself to wait for your trigger before acting.

Ask yourself:

- What am I waiting for?

- Have I seen the pattern or signal that qualifies as a trigger?

Triggers can be based on pattern recognition, statistical anomalies, or system rules like the N-Series, which offers clear and confirmable signals.

Trigger Rules:

- No continuation betting—if the trigger fails, stop and wait for a new one.

- Triggers should be objective and back tested.

- Always give a gap or reset period after a failed trigger to minimize compounding errors and psychological tilt.

2. Money Management (MM)

Money Management governs how much to bet, how to increase or decrease your bet, and how to control risk over time.

Recommended MM Rules (Example Strategy):

- Base Bet = 5% of total capital

- Increment on Loss = 1% (e.g., using a D'Alembert progression)

- Max Losses per Trigger = 3

- Stop after 5 failed triggers to reassess your Profit & Loss (P&L)

CGF MM System allows for up to 6 trigger failures with only ~30% drawdown. This provides a controlled loss exposure and preserves capital for recovery opportunities.

Common Failures in MM:

1. Forgetting the Rules: Emotional or distracted play leads to deviation.

2. Over-Betting: Escalating bet sizes without a trigger or plan, often due to ego or addiction.

3. No Stop Loss: Leads to exponential losses and high volatility.

Key Reminder: Even the best strategy will fail if MM is not followed. MM is where most players fail—not the triggers.

3. Grinding

Grinding is low-variance, base-bet betting to accumulate profit steadily. It avoids high-risk escalations and maintains a consistent approach.

Why It Works:

- Keeps emotions under control

- Preserves bankroll

- Works in tandem with well-defined MM and valid triggers

Misconception to Avoid:

- Grinding is slow—it’s methodical and boring.

- Chasing faster wins through bet escalation increases risk volatility and cash flow

unpredictability.

4. Waiting Period

The waiting period is the deliberate pause after a failed trigger or set of bets before engaging again.

Purpose:

- Prevents emotional betting

- Allows market/sequence reset

- Encourages reflection and re-alignment with the strategy

Mental Discipline:

The brain must be trained to respect downtime. If triggers are rare, that’s a strength—not a weakness. Betting frequency should be dictated by your strategy, not boredom.

Algorithm Z100

This system operationalizes the 4 elements. It automates decision-making within the boundaries of Trigger, MM, Grinding, and Waiting.

Still, failure can occur only if MM is not applied. The weakest point is always the human element.

Psychological Pitfalls to Avoid

1. Impatience & Boredom: Not waiting for triggers due to restlessness

2. Bet Escalation: Driven by ego, excitement, or loss of control

3. Ignoring MM: Caused by distraction, overconfidence, or frustration

4. Over-Betting Time: Addiction-driven repetition and over-exposure

5. Loss Chasing: Breaching MM to recover losses, resulting in higher variance

Summary

Strategy vs Trigger:

- Strategy = Full plan to reach a financial goal (e.g., 10% gain) using MM, triggers, grinding, and waiting.

- Trigger = Entry signal within the broader strategy.

Best Practices:

- Focus on high-probability triggers (e.g., N-Series)

- Use proven MM systems like CGF with max drawdown caps

- Commit to grinding, not gambling

- Embrace waiting as a tactical move

- Train your brain to follow the plan, not the impulse
